the Australian L'Abri.
L'Abri Fellowship (Australia) was established in 1989. It is located on 2000 square meters (half an acre) in a leafy suburban street in Elderslie, 10 minutes walk from a river and a walking/bicycle track. It is 20 minutes walk to the nearest town (Camden). The area is semi-rural and on the southwest edge of Sydney.
L’Abri Australia operates at the home of the directors Frank & Heather Stootman. It is not primarily a counselling centre, but a place in which thoughtful Christian answers may be explored in study, prayer, hospitality and help around the home.
Whilst staying with Frank & Heather in their large home, guests are offered friendship, good fellowship, and serious discussion within an informal atmosphere. The aim is to provide a context in which people can investigate the Christian worldview and its relevance to their life. There is access to some 3000 books and 2000 L'Abri lectures.
