For over 60 years, L’Abri communities around the world have offered Christian hospitality to people from all walks of life. We open our homes to provide a safe space where your questions are taken seriously and you can find rest from the pressures of modern life. L’Abri Australia currently has 2 locations: in Brisbane and in Sydney.

L’Abri in Brisbane, Queensland is in the earlier stages of development and operates out of the Pacholkes family home. Karl and Jenny Pacholke are making regular spaces in their home for people to be welcomed, share a meal, an open conversation and discuss ideas. They also host theme weekends – tastes of residential L’Abri.

L’Abri in Sydney, New South Wales is hosted by Frank & Heather Stootman, who have been hosting people for nearly 40 years and, although formally moving towards retirement, continue, by arrangement, to welcome guests interested in thoughtful Christianity. They are not a large work but a residential home where guests receive a lot of individual time.
